We got to cheer Brandon on as he participated in the Warrior Dash!!

We toured a few spots in Minnesota including a Cathedral 

The Capital Building

An outdoor festival

And an amazing mansion

Beat the heat

  The summer weather in Wisconsin is usually very pleasant but we of course ended up visiting during record breaking temps.  Several days in a row the temp approached 115!!!!  So the best place to beat the heat was at Perch lake.  Sand + water + good friends = tons of fun!!!

We finished up with a trip to the Ice Cream store

Somewhere along the way Madyson lost her shoes and the only thing we had in the car were Austin's golf shoes.  I think she was a bit tired and not very fond of being photographed!

Summer School

So it wasn't exactly summer school, but we did visit the Minnesota Museum of Science so hopefully they learned something!

 Brayden loved this sand machine.  He sat there forever watching the sand move!
