Summer School

So it wasn't exactly summer school, but we did visit the Minnesota Museum of Science so hopefully they learned something!

Brayden loved this sand machine.  He sat there forever watching the sand move!

Something waterfall

This was our second trip to the waterfall and I still can't remember its name!  There was a lot more water than the year before and it was much colder but that didn't stop these kids!!

Happy 12th Sweet Madyson!!!!

We were finishing our trek on Madyson's birthday but we didn't let that put a damper on things!  We surprised her with tickets to fly out to SLC and stay with her cousins and one of her good friends.

Then we continued on to the Mall of America!

Brayden was excited about the ride

That is until it dropped!  He was hanging on for dear life!!

And at last we arrived at the Searles where Kimberly had of course, made a homemade chocolate birthday cake for Madyson!  I can't believe my baby girl is 12!! She is an amazing young women.  She is sweet, funny, witty, smart, beautiful caring, helpful, talented, I could go on and on!!  I am so blessed to have her as a daughter.  Maybe the reason I only got one is because she is the best!!!

Annual Trek

After being home from Farmington for a few weeks we hit the road again for our second annual visit to the Searles in Wisconsin.  This time I had a driving partner!!
Can I just say again how I love technology on road trips!!

Just a few more days

Austin stowed away in the Merkley's RV and left on the night of the 4th but the kids were having so much fun and Ginger, Misty and their kids were staying longer so the kids talked me into staying a few more days.  Madyson got a make over compliments of Ava

Preston got injured (Trent had of course already flown home)

And Brayden just had more fun with cousins!

He found this hat at Jeri's and wanted to wear it everywhere!!

A bunch of nuts!!!

Nuts, my family is full of them!!!  We wrapped up the trip with an afternoon at Papa's house.  I'm pretty sure it hasn't seen that much action in, well, never!!!  I just wish everyone could have been there!
